  1. Hi All,

I am using Pinnacle Studio 7 to edit my video. I would like to creta files that are DVD ready. I was reading somewhere that MPEG2 codec from Pinnacle is not good and that I should create AVI file and then convert it into MPEG2 file. Now quiestion that I have is :

Which codec should I use to create AVI file (which one is best) and which codec to use to create MPEG2 file ?

    Thanks,
    Peter

It is stated in the manual for best results use DV full quality to create avi
files , I use the same program to create avi's , then I encode them with
TMPGEnc dvd ntsc. then I burn with nero ,,, the finished product is pretty dam_ outstanding , but you be the judge of that .
