You can use dvd2avi and tmpgenc

Clad gives you the option to frameserve if you check this option clad will creat a .d2v file import the.d2v file into tmpgenc as the video source. the .d2v file pulls in the order of the ripped .vob files, add your audio file to the movie and encode. I do it this way and have had very few problems.

  4. I use smart ripper to rip the vobs, then dvd2avi to do the frameserving and tmpeg to encode. then i just burn it with easy cd creator 5 and they all work great in my sanyo dvm-370 dvd player. I just followed sefy's guide on this site and it worked like a charm. the only thing i did differently was that i used easy cd creator to do the burning. The quality is excellent.
