I have a AVI movie that is in 2 parts. Both parts are about 90 min a piece. When I set up the conversion with TMPGEnc, my bitrate is in the 900's. I have made other SVCDs using the same method and got a good 1600 bitrate with them but they were only 60 mins long for each of the 2 cds.
Is there a way to get the two parts of the movie on to 2 SVCDs with a better than 900 bitrate or do i need to make 3 SVCDs so I can get my 1600+ bitrate. If i need to make it into 3 cds, how do i do that when the movie is in only two parts?
PS. I go strictly by the AVI to SVCD guide for TMPGEnc.

You'd better go with 3 CDs in this case then you have to fit only 50 mins in each CD and you can increase bitrate and get better quality. You can use V-dub to join 2 avi files into one big file. Here's guide for joining with V-dub "http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubedit.htm"

I tried combining the two AVI files but it came up with an error that the sampling rate is not the same and it wont continue. Is there a way to fix that or use a different program to join them so I can cut it into 3 parts?
