How do you set Virtual Dub to multithread

I have been unable to search topics on how to get Vittual Dub to create multithread captures, can someone please tell me where to look for it or how can l achieve it?

I capture from my camera with VDub but on many occassions l want to capture to separate files, that is, l stop/start capture, and wants VDub to automatically increment the file name.

at first i want to say that the word 'multithread' is not appropriate here.
that has something to do with processes in memory, not with filenames.

anyway, i don't know vdub that well, but i know that uivcr does that trick.
