    When i try to save my wave file VirtualDub gives me this error:

    ACM failed to suggest audio decompression format

    Any ideas what this could be?

    you don't have a suitable audio codec installed. Does the movie play with audio in WMP?
    What does it say for audio properties under virtualub file information?
