  1. Hi. I have this PAL Divx File (25 fps, 44.1KHz audio) which I want to convert to NTSC but, as I am not a very experienced user, I have had problems with the video stuttering and loss of audio sync when I simply encode to mpeg2 ntscfilm with TMPGEnc. could someone give me some tips on getting a good clean conversion?

  3. Use virtualdub to change the framerate from 25fps to 23.97fps. Save as avi (with no audio). Again with virtualdub, use audio->full processing mode, compression = none (PCM) and file->save wav.
Open the resulting wav file in your favourite audio editor (soundforge, goldwave etc) and stretch the audio to exactly match the length of your new video. Use these two files (audio and video) as the inputs to Tmpgenc and encode to NTSC film.

    Hope this helps
