  1. i have tried converting time machine using tmpgenc but get the following error message - write error occured at address 00487146 of module 'tempgenc.exe' with 0021f000, it has happened on other avi files i have tried to convert, anyone any ideas wots wrong

  2. Sounds like bad frames.
    Download this version of Virtualdub and do a Video Frame Scan (Video > Check Video For Freezes):

    (scroll down to the "mp3_freeze" version)
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html

    After scanning ,see if there are any bad frames.
    If there are ,and the total number is acceptable,you can remove them in Virtualdub.

  4. i've looked at that web site i'm using version 2.58 but it is still coming up with the same error at 28%
