    I am new at this and having trouble with the OS limitation of a 4Gb file size. I have found no info on breaking up a capture in smaller chunks. Are there settings in Premiere 6 that allow the capture to be broken up into consecutive clips that do not all go to one file. Capture from Sony DV camcorder from firewire to Premiere 6 Movie Capture. Please help if you can. Thanks

    You need NTFs partition NT/2K/XP.
    Also need to capture in AVI 2.0
    Do a search on the web for AVI 2.0 and file size limitation.
