On several movies I've tried to rip, both SmartRipper and DVD Decryptor give me errors near the end of the rip, saying there's not enough disc space, when in fact there is. And another time only half the movie actually got ripped and it kept saying it was completed. Anyone else have these problems?

Only just started using DVD Decrypter, seems to be ok so far. I've never had any trouble using SmartRipper

sounds like your using the Fat or Fat32 file system which has a 4gb file size limit, you'll need NTFS to be able to create files bigger than this
Smartripper says it completed successfully but it chops off anything over 4gb so you lose part of the movie -
That sounds like it could be the reason, but when I've used DVD Decryptor to create an ISO file of a single layer DVDthe file is over 4 gigs and still works fine.
