  1. How can I capture in SVCD PAL format using Power VCR 3.0 since there are no predefined SVCD settings?
Custom settings do not support 480*576 resolution.

    Hi
I get better results results by making a custom profile.
    DVD Pal
    Bitrate 7500
    High Quality 3
Then encoding to SVCD after using TMPGEnc.

Powervcr keeps its profile information in the registry.

If you are comfortable with editing the registry just do a search on "PowerVCR" until you find all the defaults. Just insert the new size or sizes. Make just you use the exact format and spacing of the existing ones. Easy as pie. After this you will then be able to select 480x576 or whatever else you put in the registry within the program.

If you need more info, this information has been posted a few times before.

Do a search in the forum on Powervcr and all the posts will be listed. Just read until you find the one you want.
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.

  4. I found that registry hack, but it seems it is not working since there is no changes in selection of resolutions-they stayed as before.
I am running WIN XP PRO.
    What am I doing wrong?
