    Hey..i'm wondering.is it possible to break down mpeg's to smaller files...like a 500 mpeg to like 30 rars or so...that are 15 megs each... either bin to rar.or mpeg to rar..thanks

    Yes, you can split mpegs using WinRar. However, you will get very little compression, so it will be better (ie faster) to use WinRar's *store* option for the compression method.

    Breaking down video files to smaller files using WinRar is standard practice if you are posting to newsgroups.

    If you are posting to newsgroups OR FTPing large video files. I agree use the store option on WINRAR and set them to about 20meg. That's what I use anyway, cuts the upload time by about 60% when it's FTP
