    Hello people, I am a newbie. Have any of you tried this baby yet?

    While on the topic, I'd like to buy this but I was wondering if the process of making a back-up copy of a DVD to a DVD writable media is the same or similar than making a VCD copy using your computer?

    Any comments?

    No you can't just copy a dvd like a vcd.
