SUMMARY
-----------
I create a DVD. Everthing I film(family shots) with my camera is very pixelated. Things I copy with the camera of from TV(Sinfield, OLN) is just fine.
STEPS
--------
I copied a TV show with my DV camera and it looks great.
I filmed some outside shots with the same camera and it too also looks great.
Using Canopus board, I brought the two into Premier 6.0. I then spliced the two together and created one film which looks great.
I exported the timeline to movie to a file using the Canopus MPEG SoftEncoder with the following parameters:
[MPEG]
Stream : MPEG2 Elementary Stream
Output : Video && Audio
[Video Settings]
Bit rate : CBR, 4000000 bps
GOP Settings : IBBP, Picture = 15, Closed GOP
Profile && Level : MP@ML, Size : FULL ( 720 x 480 )
[Audio Settings]
Audio format : Wave, Sampling rate : 48000 Hz
[Option]
Encoding Mode : Quality the Most
Sequence Header : Place all GOP's
Everythig seems to work fine. Now when I bring it into DVDit! SE, I'm able to make a DVD just fine.
PROBLEM:
------------
The problem is that when you watch the DVD on the TV, everythig that I filmed myself is very pixelated and jerky. Everything I took from the TV is just fine. Am I using the wrong software? Is there a better encoder that would do the job?
