Could anyone find the mistake?.

I prepared the PHILIPS SVCD style subtitle with SubRip and then used WinSubMux to mux these subtitles to the MPEG. Actually I used the same subtitle in 2 streams, one in CVD type and the other in SVCD type. EVerything went good. Used VCDEASY to create the bin/cue files. Used Nero to burn(Nero-->Burn Image-->VCDEASY Cue Sheet). Now all these steps went without any error .

But when played in my DVD player(APEX 1100W) the subtitle did not show up . Could anyone tell me what am I missing?

According to the DVDplayers comments page on the 1100w it's hit or miss. There are at least 4 diffrent models ( 512/1m ) and ( with VCD support and without VCD support ).

Have you tried the test images availible on this site to see if they work?

I did try the sample Subtitles and the CVD type worked. Also I have 1MB firmware upgraded. It is my sweet player which plays humbly what ever I throw at it .

well atleast did someone know how to change to position of subtitle?. maybe my subtitle is out of viewing area?

Thanks Gargoyle! I tried with NERO and worked atlast. Also trying to burn with CDRWIN too. If works, i will get back to you. Thanks for again giving some real suggestion.
