I'm still messing around with Ifoedit to backup Macross 2. I ripped the entire movie per Derrow's and Doom9's guides. Got rid of the VOBs and related files that belonged to Trailers, previews and some other stuff I didn't want. Loaded this into ifoedit DVDPlay to test and everything that I left in works fine. The problem comes when I test the links to menus of features that I took the files out for. For example, when I click on the DVD Previews link it say "Illegal navigation command" and freezes up. Please don't say "Just don't click on the link" How do I neutralize these links so that they don't react to the remote commands? I already have a pretty good lead from Derrow's site about changing the PGC for the start of the movie to either start with the menu or start playing the disc immedaitely. Which one of the files in the ifo directory should I got to in order to set these navigation links to do nothing? Somehow I get the feeling this is going to be a combination of editing the ifo file and creating a new one. Or do I simlply have to follow Derrow's guide on creating a new ifo file with the BUPs and such to get it all working. Sorry that it sounds like I'm not doing my homework but I have very little time anymore to research/test/experiment. 12 hr days. 6 days a week leaves little time for any hobby.

Another problem is that there is only 1 VOBID, no program and no cells. When I went to strip it there was only 1 VOBID.

Cool! I finally figure it out! If anyone is interested I can either submit a guide or just write out how I did it.

I'm interested. I too don't have as much time as I would like for my hobby.
