    Hello everyone.

My PC stopped to recognize the links contained in texts.
With the left button of the mouse I don't succeed to go to the address the link represents.
    Any suggestion?

    Good evening.

What browser are you using? You can reset IE to defaults by going to 'Tools>Internet Options>Advanced'. I'd try that first. Other browsers may have a similar function. But I would wonder why it quit.

    Hello everybody.

I did what you said, Redwutz, but it didn't result. My browser is Internet Explorer.

I'm going to try be more explicit with 2 examples:

    1) VIDEOHELP - How to (All guides) - Text search (Extract subtitles) - Search guides - Link http:// ...... NOTHING!

    2) GAMEFAQS - PC - (Choose a letter) - (Choose a game) - In the page of the game choose Gamespot or Gmerankings or another link -------- NOTHING!

I think with these examples I introduce better my problem.

Probably I must reinstall the Windows XP.

    Thank you.

    Cheers.

I'm guessing something is blocking HTML code, but I don't know enough about that to be of much help. So when a HTML address is shown like, http://forum.videohelp.com , it won't link to that address, and it doesn't show in red type here? (Or blue and underlined on other sites.)

If the problem isn't in IE, them maybe some anti-virus or firewall program is doing the blocking.

    Hello,

Since those particular links "pop-up" in another window (Internet Explorer in your case) I would assume that your browser is blocking pop-ups. Which Internet Explorer version are you using? 7 I would assume.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/web/sp2_popupblocker.mspx

Internet Explorer 7 Pop Up blocker is turned on by default you might want to turn it off OR just "whitelist" the sites that you know have safe pop ups (e.g. www.videohelp.com )

Let us know of your progress.
