  1. Ok, for some reason when I try to convert certain videos they will skip. I use TMPGE 2.58. I notice that when I get to the advanced menu the option for 'Inverse Telecline' is always checked. I tried converting with and without this box checked, but the picture still skips (the audio is usually fine). Does anyone know if this problem can be solved? I've tried many many ways to fix this and I cannot seem to get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thnx!

  2. it's using the inverse telecline because the source you're using has a different bitrate then what you're trying to encode it to. right click on the source file, go to the properties window, and find the bitrate. it should be something like 29,97 or 23.976. if it's 29.97, choose NSTC VCD or SVCD, and if it's 23.976, choose NSTC Flim VCD or SVCD. hopefully, that should stop the skipping.
If idiots could fly, vcdhelp.com would be an airport.
