philips dvd793ch sucks

I had philips 724 and I liked it. But it did not have multi disc changer. So i decided to return it and get philips 793ch, hoping that since it is same company, it will be almost similar with the additional 5 disc changer. I was wrong. My VCd and SVCD's that 724 played well, were not played by 793ch. The 793CH did recognize that it is SVCD and VCD, but after that nothing happened, it looked liked it is trying to read and read and read, but nothing happened.
I am very dissapointed.
Did anyone had similar experience? Do I need to change some setting to make it work?
Please help, otherwise I will have to return this unit back and go back to my 724!!!

havent checked if your player is in...but it might help...regards...THE basser
