  1. Hi. I admit, I'm a major newbie to ripping any kind of movies, so please forgive me if this is the stupidest question ever posted I'm just curious if there's any way to get rid of those annoying white squares/blocks in the top-right corner of the screen after everything has been ripped. I used the DVD ripping guide from www.dvdripguides.com to rip a couple special features from DVD->SVCD, but no one seems eager to help out in their forum... The video and sound are perfectly synched, and I even managed to use VCD Gear to convert mpeg->mpeg so I can play the files in Windows Media Player, but those nasty blocks still remain. Is there any way at all to get rid of them?

    The programs I used were:

    SmartRipper
    DVD2AVI
    TMPGEnc

    Thanks in advance!

Are you describing the top line ? trying to understand what the problem is.

You can use TMPGEnc > settings > advanced > Clip frame > full screen keep aspect ration

    What are the blocks ?
