    Does anyone know which Home DVD Players play raw mpeg files w/o the special vcd/svcd format? I was considering to buy either the RCA 5240P or the phillips 724 but I am not sure if either one can play raw mpeg files?????

    I have a Logix 3000 which can play raw mpeg on CDRW after a firmware upgrade.

    My Apex 2100 will play raw MPGs (and JPGs, MP3s and WMAs).
