  1. I have some audio vcd's and want to convert them to mp3
    How can i do that

  2. Use TMPGEnc. MPEG Tools --> Demultiplex

    Load the relevant "DAT" file off your VCD. Save the audio to an MP2 file.

    If you really want to make an MP3, then use Winamp to convert the MP2 file to a WAV and then use your favourite MP3 encoder (if you are interested in quality LAME is highly recommended).

    Some of those disks have many separate .dat files, it it would take you a long time to load each one in for editing. It may be quicker to play the VCD and just record what you can hear. Quality is going to be reasonable considering your going to shrink them to MP3.

    Press record in www.goldwave.com (Get the MP3 plug-ins) and save out the sections you want
