  1. I want to Capture some TV Shows I've Recorded over the years in the 4:3 Ratio (Normal Screen), to the 16: 9 Ratio (Widescreen), but My Video Capture Software is unabel to dot he "Coversion" by itself, I'm using Pinacle Studio AV (Anolog Video) Version 7, with a DC10Plus Video Capture Board (MJPeg Format), and I want to make an AVI, than Convert the AVI fromt he 4:3 Ratio to the 16:9 Ratio and put the 16: 9 Widescreen AVI Back on to a VHS Video Cassette, is their any Freeware Program I can use to convert the 4:3 "Regular Screen" Ratio to a 16: 9 Widescreewn Ratio?

If there's a Non-Freeware Program that's less than $60.00 US Dollars and is from a Reputable Company (not some "Download Only" Company that won't send me a CD with the Program) that's good too, any help is appreciated.

    Thank you in Advance; Regards,

  2. You should be able to do that with TMPGenc. Just look here under "tools". Try it out, by setting the aspect ratio for the output file to 16:9 NTSC (or PAL) whatever is needed for your TV. I also have a 16:9 TV and it worked with mine. Will be an MPEG afterwards, though...

  4. Freeware is fine for D only, I'm talkign about "Pay SOftware" that I wont' use a DL: only.

I tied the Conversion in TMPEGnc and I got no picutre, sdo I need to conver it to 1:1 VGA first, and then to 16:9?

I'm using an NTSC TV, but i just need to "Capture" it into Widescreen (MPEG is vfine) and then convert ti bakc to WIdescreen AVI which I can do with "Video Impresion" on EAsy CD Creator 5 from Roxio.
