  1. ok, I'm a newbie to this conversion thing and attempted by using EZCD Creator 5.0 to convert an .avi movie to vcd format. After I burn it, I pop it in my dvd/vcd player and all it says it no disc. For some reason, it won't accept what I have done. Are there any othr steps to this or what should I do? Thanks in advance.

  3. When using EZ CD Creator the movie files must be in mpg you can convert them to mpg using TMPGec or just use Nero it accepts avi files

  4. sorry about that, i was meaning mpeg on this. I tried the mpeg corrector, then tried to burn it using nero burner with no luck yet. I thought it was because I had no autoplay, so added that and no result still. The list states that my vcd player (Samsung DVD-M101) can view regular cd-rs in vcd format. I'm including all the steps I used to create this CD. Mpeg video checked by mpeg corrector; tested it with nero, burned it with nero. Pop it in my dvd player, states no CD. I have wasted 6 cdr's on this now and about to give this up. If anyone could give me the steps they use to convert it in detail, it would be greatly appreciated. Yes I checked the FAQ and all over this forum. Thanks in advance.

Obtain TEMPEnc from the TOOLS section of this forum.

Load your AVI and LOAD the appropriate VCD template for your region.

    Click the START button.

Burn your MPEG using EZCD Creator or NERO, but try burning it on a CDRW. Important - do NOT format the CDRW in Diirect CD. Just use it as it comes out of the box.

    See what happens.
