cant rip audio with v/dub or bb poweramp

how do i rip this sound out of a movie divx.avi all my tools wont let me do it thanx

There may be many reasons to save out the audio from an AVI movie, you may wish to work on it for use later. You may have a low powered machine that makes it difficult to convert while part of the AVI.

It is not possible to convert from one format to another unless you have the supporting codec installed.

This saves out the audio "As is"
File > Open Video file
File > File information > Can you see the audio type ? If unknown, you have a missing codec.
Check for junk frames
Audio > direct stream copy
SAVE WAV

This converts the audio to an uncompressed WAV
File > Open
File > File information > Can you see the audio type ? If unknown, you have a missing codec.
Check for junk frames
Audio > Full Processing mode
Audio > Compression > No compression (PCM)
Audio > Conversion > 44.1Khz (No other changes)
SAVE WAV
