  1. Well...ok i was having problems with the movies that i turn into vcd skipping and freezing before...now i can't even get them to pick up on my dvd player at all....the problem is that i am doing the same exact thing that i was before...if you want to know the setting of the movie that i am trying to encode here they are...

AVI format with 29.976 frames per sec...and i already scanned it for bad frames. Now when i put it into tmpeg it comes up as it's interlaced..so i set the encoding settings as interlace (encode), de-interlace, highest motion search precision, and soften block noise. So what's going on now? Does the fact that i am using the same re-writable cd have something to do with it? Also..when you erase a cd rw is it best to use the full erase or is quick erase good enough. Oh, and i tried using nero and vcdeasy to burn this cd and it's still not picking up.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been using Fuji CD-R's for my VCD's and a Princo CD-RW for
    my tests of the VCD's.

In my latest batch of VCD's my 3rd one was having problems. I burned
it on the Princo and I could not get it to load at all.

I have used the Princo a total of approx. 5-10 times for testing. I have
tried both "Full Erase" and "Quick Erase". Sometimes the "Quick" would
    work, sometimes it would not.

Now I can't get anything to play off of the Princo. I can still copy to it
but as far as a VCD goes, I think it has had it.

Aren't you supposed to be able to use a CD-RW like a 1000 times before
    it starts going bad? Hmmm

    Goodluck!
