Using Liteon32x12x40 burner installed in GA-72X ,1.2 Athlon,512 MB DDR.
Win2K SP2.
Using Nero 5.5xx to burn. It completes apparently successfully with no errors.
The resulting CD is unreadable from any machine.
The error message is 'incorrect format'
All devices show installed ok. I have 2 HDD as masters, the cd rom and cd
writer are attached as slaves on separate IDE cables. This is data or music.
I have tried many times , wasting about 8 cd's and rebooted/unintalled Nero and re-installed.
I even re-installed Win2K.
I installed the CDwriter on another machine and it worked fine, also Win2K but slightly different Mainboard ( Gbyte but different model. Same ver of Nero.)
It's puzzling cos Nero gives no error and completes successfully apparently.
Any ideas anyone pls?
