  1. is i possible for me to use my pioneer a04 to burn a dvd-r full of mp3's and then go home and stick that dvd in the ge dvd player in my living room and it play all 4.7 gig's of those mp3's?

    if so how do i do this?
    (what application do i need to burn with)

    I dont know about your player, but I noticed something about my new Sony DVD player over the weekend. One of the help screens said it will only play up to 200 MP3 files on any given disc. So, even if it played DVD-MP3 discs full of 700 songs, it would only play 200 of them. I doubt it supports DVD data discs anyway.

    However, if the same is true for your player, a disc of 200 MP3s is roughly a 700mb compact disc.

    not many support "dvd-mp3". you can test burn in iso/udf mode with nero for example and try on your dvd.
