Hi
I have searched the forum but can't find something that replicates my problem.
I am trying to make a home movie made up of digital still images, digital video and music (mp3's).
The best success I have had is by doing the following.
1/ Capture video using Premiere - PAL 768X 576 seems to save as 720X576. avi files seem okay.
2/ Create premiere project including music etc. PAL 768X576.
3/ Export as Microsoft AVI file. -> takes ages
4/ Create mpeg using tmpgenc 2.57 PAL 352X288. I use the PAL VCD template.
5/ Burn to VCD using a Click N Burn Pro
The problem when I do this is that the video is very pixelated and there are ghost images all over the screen. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.
When I tried to export from Premiere using Microsoft DV AVI format I can't convert the video to mpeg using tmpgenc. The software will only recognise the audio not the video. I would prefer to use this as it is so much quicker to export from Premiere. And probably better quality.
In both occassions the avi files will play with perfect clarity on my PC.
Can anyone help??? I hope I have put enough info.
Thanks,
Kaisha
