    Hello,

I have a Panasonic CD Player (Bought in 1998) and it doesn't support CDRW. I would like to know if there is a program that can burn or rather trick the CD player to play CDRW (kinda like the VCD header trick) The brand I'm using is Pocket CD CDRW by Memorex (I KNOW THEY SUCK). I know that I need to get a new CD player but right now I don't have the money (saving for that ATI AIW 8500 RAEDON)

Such a thing is not possible because the difference between CD-R and CD-RW has nothing to do with how the CD is written. It's the physical characteristics of the media (in particular, the reflectivity). CD-R is less reflective than pressed CDs, but still reflect enough for most players. CD-RW is typically much less reflective, so the player simply doesn't get enough light back to read anything.
