OK folks, here's my situation.
I created my first succesfull DVD using the ATI AIW 7500. MMC 7.5 had an option for Video CD Encoding. I used this, and was able to fit about 3 hours of video onto my first DVD RW Disc. Only problem is, the audio was terrible, because it had to be converted to DVD standard.
So, I upgraded to MMC 7.5, wich has DVD Audio included. I then encode the videos in ATI's DVD 'Medium' Option, wich is ; MPEG 2, 352X480, NTSC(525), 3.00 MB/s, 48.000KHZ, 16Bit Stereo.
however, in using the software that came with my HPDVD200i Writer(Sonic, My DVD), it ALWAYS adds about 100 MB's to the file. It never did this the first time around, so what am I doing wrong? Especially considering that this encode I am using is 'dvd compliant?'. The Files I am importing into MyDVD are only 440MB's in size, so I should be able to fit at least 8 onto one DVD+RW disc.
Any ideas?
