Sorry! I know this is not a VCD related query but I figured one of you might have the answer. Hauppauge offers a third party software (no support) that allows for time lapse frame capture. Anyone ever get this to work? Everey time I try to run it I get the following error message "Cannot Find Snapshot Window". Hoping you might be able to give some insight.

    Cheers

Thanks for that bit of humble pie I'm now eating I overlooked that in "STEP #1" of the instructions!

Maybe you have another bit of insight for me now that I know it's not quite up to the job. It will not snap at less than 5 sec intervals, does not allow for no compression saves and has that annoying "save as" delay feature (defaults to 1) which gives you a sneak peak at your saved image.

I like using the WinTV2000 capture interface but I have two probs with it... Firstly, you have to constantly click that itsy-bitsy little actuator bar... Secondly, after about 80-100 captures it tends to get a bit unstable and usually crashes (just about when your almost finished).

Are there any interfaces for WinTV that will allow fast-as-it-can captures with instant save in an uncompressed format?
Before anyone says it, no, avi won't work Can't quite get the same 640x480 resizable quality.

    Hoping someone has an idea!

    Cheers

Sorry I don't of anything like that But you could capture it in AVI and use something like Jasc Animation Shop 3 to export it out to any thing you like any format you want.
