    Every time I try to encode an .avi file with LSX encoder it errors out with a file read error after a while. I'm running Win2000 and NTFS, 1gig memory and a dedicated hard drive for encoding. It does this on both the Athalon 1gig and the dual PIII-750 machines. I've tried disabling the multi-processor options in the Advanced button to no effect.

    Help?

    Well, since no one else had a clue I contacted Ligos. Bad news: It turns out their encoder has a 2gig input file limit. Good news: It works fine with virtualdub in frameserver mode. It really does run fast!!!
