  1. Hey guys... I know you are a Video crowd, but you are also experts with burning software so I hope you can still help me with my question...

I have several kiddie games (like jump start, and arthur etc) I dl'd from kazaa that are EXE files, but when I try to click to open them I get an error saying its missing a dll file that I should try reinstalling. HA. So then I tried to burn it to disc, regular ISO using nero, well that didnt work either, just same error. So I tried burning an image of the EXE file, but that didnt work either, just spun and spun and wouldnt even show that there was anything on the disc. ugh!

I know I've solved this issue once before... but to heck if I can remember what Im soposed to do! DOH! (its very late @ nite in my defence!)

Can anyone walk me through this, or point me to an idiot proof guide?

    big thx

What happened is someone installed the program in their Kazaa shared folder and you downloaded just the main exe and not the installation EXE. So you have no support files (ie -dll's)
This doesn't have anything to do with ISO's or burning...
Now sometimes when you download a file from Kazaa and it is supposed to be an ISO, it will be compressed as a self extracting EXE, or the file extension will be EXE when it should actually be ISO. If you run an EXE and it just pops up a dos window for a second and then nothing, it is a good chance that you need to rename it to end in ISO. Then use Nero, exit the wizard, and goto File - Burn image and select the newly renamed ISO.
