i was looking at tv episodes and i came across some divxs that were only 141mb and 43 minutes long.. so i tried capturing one of my own using the how-to guide on vcdhelp.com using virtualdub but when i got to video/set custom format, "YUV2" wasn't an option.. does anyone know why?
i used UYVY because it was the default with the DivxLow motion codec and it used about 17mb/min so I was wondering if that had anything to do with the format..
does anyone know what settings i should use to make small low divxs? do i have to capture to avi and convert? any help would be appreciated.. thanks

as far as i know is YUV not a codec.
when you 'save as' dixv there should be options where you can set the quality (crispyness and bitrate).
i use uiVCR and that works ok.
