I got a Sony DVP-NS 305 DVD Player and it can't read SVCD Otherwise its a really good piece of equipment. Anyway, in a thread about the DVP-NS 300 I found a way to fool the player into playing SVCD files as long as they have their headers changed.

Can I include 2 audio tracks and subtitles like in a normal SVCD?

Can I rip a DVD into a SVCD with two language audio tracks and one subtitle language and them use some trick to be able to play this as a VCD?

    How?

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

  2. i use the same trick to fool my DVD player but i've been trying that too. If you put an MPEG2 file on a VCD, the only diff between a normal VCD would be the resolution and audio= the bitrate is the bitrate of a SVCD but you can't choose multiple subtitles
