  1. This is my first venture out of the newbie forum so please bare with me.

I downloaded a movie SVCD and ended up with 2 BIN/CUE files.

I tried to load the Cue file into VCDGear, I edited the cue file, but kept getting the message that the file could not be found.

I tried Firebuner to burn the cue file, but kept getting an error.

I burnt the Cues using Nero all well and good on the first part but after burning the second part, I opened it in Media Player, Media Player was saying that the movie is over 4 hours long! I believe this part of the movie is 50 minutes long.
When I play the second part it breaks up into blocks and freezes.

I then tried to convert the AVSEQ file from the CD straight into VCDGear but it would still not find it.
I tried to load the AVSEQ file into TMPGEnc to encode but keep getting the message unsupported.

I have read through the forums but can’t find a cure.

I am trying to fix the second part, can it be repaired?
I would like to convert the movie to DVD but the files are not being recognised.
    I will never learn

If you want to use Nero for burning your bin/cue files, you will need daemon tools. This is a freeware program that creates a virtual cd on your system. You then load the cue file into the virtual cd, go to nero and use "copy cd" to burn your disk. Use "daemon" as the search word to do a forum search for more info on this. I've been using this setup for 6 months now and it works great, along with DVD2SVCD!

actually, the newer versions of Nero work just fine burning images.
I use 5.5.7.2, and don't have any problems burning image files

Sometimes the structure may not be compatible with your writer, sometimes is best to use an ISO buster to open up the bin file and extract the movie, then you can author it with any of the programs as normal, Chose SVCD for mpeg files, or VCD for .dat files.

ISO buster, WinISO, CdMarge all read Bin files.

Unsupported files, could mean you don’t have a SVCD codec installed for use with TMPGEnc Plus, the freeware version has a 30 day limit for SVCD, the full version requires a codec that could be provided by installing PowerDVD 4. Nimo codec pack, provides one for genrel use only
