when i am ripping a widescreen dvd to vcd, i go into tmpeg and when i set the source aspect ratio as 16:9 display rom a dvd that says it is a widescreen dvd, and then i burn it to a vcd when i play it barely takes up more than half the screen. When i play the actual dvd it has the black bars still, but the movie takes up more like 7/10 of the screen. Is this normal, or am i setting something wrong?
thanks in advance
