  1. I'm using the KWAG template in tmpg, but I was to use Video pack to burn it out so that I can add entry points.
I was wondering when I add the mpg2 file, does Videopack 5.0 automatically re-encode it to the size standard size? because if it does......then I will have to stick with nero and go without my entry points...

  2. Why don't you use VCDEasy?
This way, you can add all the chapters you want.

  3. You can add chapters in Video pack 5.0 too can't you?

besides.....in the guide on VCDEasy, I didn't see them say anything about chapters..........????
and when I say chapters, I mean being able to jump to the middle of a movie without having to fast fowarding it till it gets there.

  4. ah........nevermind, I"m an idiot, I see the chapters guide now,

but quality wise, when burning with VCDEasy, Nero or VideoPack,
which one do you find gives the highest quality? or do burning programs not matter?

  5. VideoPack has been my favourite interactive VCD/SVCD authoring software which can make multi motion DVD style menus and buttons for VCD/SVCD plus chapters that can be jumped into by numbers or next/previous.
But it could be much better if Roxio has not bought Cequadrat.
Roxio just thinks artsy and fancy interface is what the users need, but this is not true, those who use professional authoring softwares don't need such things. The interface of older versions of VideoPack was much better than the recent one and it was more like Scenarist which by adding (S)VCD capability definitely is the best authoring package.
Now on the subject I've found a way to make Interactive K(S)XVCD with VideoPack. Some tools other than VideoPack itself is required.
I will soon write a guide on how to make XVCD/XSVCD by VideoPack but in brief you need VideoPack, VCDEasy and Roxio CD-Rom Emulator to do the job!

  6. Awesome!!!!! think you can post in here when you're done so I know where to go/look?

I like video pack cuz it gives you the ability to add buttons and link it back to the menu and stuff,

I like how you can link videos together so when you press next it can goto a video at the bottom or what not,
and when you press the menu or return button it goes back to the menu,
that's what I want to do, but I somehow doubt that VCDEasy can do all of that....
