  1. I used Nero 5.5.9.0 to burn Video DVD and sent out for replication. I got them today. However, 1 of my player cannot recognize the pressed DVD. Any idea?

DVDs burnt using Nero will not play back on all players. I had this problem with a Pioneer 454. Try RecordNow MAX (the successor to Prassi). There's an evaluation copy on http://www.stompinc.com/trial/index.phtml?stp

    Cured my problems.

  3. How do you burn your movies in Nero? When I go for a DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) or DVD-Video? Imho UDF is the "right" DVD-Video format so I always burned with UDF/ISO rather than with the "DVD-Video"-template. So far I haven't had problems with my discs. Then again: None of my discs work in the Xbox.

You may be right. I've only used DVD Video. It worked fine on every machine I tried it till I came across the new Pioneer. Then it just chucked it out. Said it couldn't be played. After looking around I found other people with the same problem with Nero. Don't know if they were using DVD Video of Data it just seemed easier to use something else. No problems since.

  5. Just to throw my experience into the mix. I tried Stomp RecordNow Max today to burn a dvd movie and it refused to play on my toshiba dvd player, whereas nero burned dvds work perfectly.
