Here is my computer info:
P4 2.0 Ghz
512 DDR Ram
Aeolus GeForce4 TI4200 (w/ VIVO)
WD 100 GB 7200 RPM
Pioneer DVDR104
WinXP Pro
I am trying to capture a videotape from a VCR to my computer. Whenver the preview and capture do work, all the way at the bottom border there is always this line that doesn't make things too pretty. On the right border there's just a black empty column. I went out and bought the Dazzle DVD creating center, that didn't work. Returned that and got the ADS USB Instant DVD. It worked once but those same exact ugly lines were still there in both the preview, and the playback. Now it won't even work because it's giving me a bulk in error.
Another problem is that when capturing (I have old 8mm film that was converted to VHS) the picture is way too bright or dark on the computer but it's fine when playing from a VCR on TV.
What can I do to fix these problems? What's causing these problems? Any input at al would be much appreciated. Thanks! Eugene
