  1. Hi I am trying to rip a DVD and keep the main movie, menu, and one of the special features. The DVD itself is over 4.3 gigs but just the items listed above are not. The DVD has the main movie in VTS_13_1-4.vob and the menu in VTS_13_0.vob. The special feature I want is in VTS_14_X.*.

What I did was loaded vts13.ifo and stripped unwanted streams. Now I have: vts_13_1-3.vob, video_ts.ifo, video_ts.bup in NEWDIR. So then i copied over vts_13_0.vob, video_ts.vob and vts_14_.*. Loaded up video_ts.ifo in ifoedit corrected the VTS vectors.

Now when i load video_ts.ifo in power dvd it plays just the way i want...however when i try to burn with prassi it won't even start the burn (doesn't like my video_ts) directory...

    PLease help!!! :-)

    Thanks!!!

  2. Just some more information, I also copied over VTS_01_0.* (I read that its required).

When I try to load up VIDEO_TS.ifo and hit play (w/ ifoedit) it plays perfect but before starting it says there is no dvd volume info? Could that be why prassi wont burn my video_ts directory?

  4. Go thru Derrow's guides and see if they can answer your questions.

  5. The guides are what I went by to begin with. Someone said that the vts_XX files need to be sequential but nowhere on derrow's guides do i see that ( i actually see the contrary on the idiots guide).

  6. I have the same problem when trying to use complement dvd video settings in Gear Pro DVD and Nero. Gear Pro DVD gives an error that the address is already used by something else which makes me believe the addressing in the authored DVD is wrong. I just burn with Nero's DVD data iso/ufd and they play fine on standalones. Sometimes though I get a case where they play fine in PowerDVD and IFOEdit DVD player but they refuse to play on the standalones because of this pointer problem. This problem exists because I try to keep the menu.
