  1. I converted my home videos to mpeg2 files using Pinnacle Studio 7. I burned the file using my DVD RAM/DVD-R to a DVD-R disk. I played the DVD-R disk in my DVD player Apex AD1500 but it only gives me an error message. In the User's manual of the Apex AD1500, it says it can play DVD, VCD, CD, and MP3. I don't see DVD-R. Could this be the reason why the player does not recognize the disk? What are other probable problems?

    Thanks

  2. I had an Apex and had to return it for a player that will play the medium of discs that I wish to use in your case dvd-r I suggest when you go out to purchase a dvd player ask them to hook it up so you can test your movies any reputable dealer will do this. Good luck....

my apex1500 plays dvd-r, could it be the brand of media? or was it not burned compliant?
