    Is there a program to download to convert quiktime movies to mpeg...i just want to put videos on a cdr...thx

    TMPGEnc with QTReader.vfp does the job!

    Make sure the HIGH QUALITY field is enable in both video and audio in your QT file. Then save the QT file before you start the compression. It works great in my case, DV -> iMovie -> QT -> VCD or SVCD.
