Can someone please tell me how to capture a whole DV tape to Adobe Premiere or Media Studio 6.0 all in one file or if necessary in separate files that can be stitched together.

For that matter you should be running an NTFS capable OS (NT, 2000, XP) son you can break the 2GB barrier safely.
If you are, try converting your hardrive to NTFS. You dont have to reformat for it, though it 's recomended to do so.In this industry, Sadly, The future was yesterday. -
