I've looked thru the forums a dozen times looking for how the hell to do this, but every time someone asked about it, they were just told to get Nimo. Well, I have Nimo, and Moonlight Odio encoded DivX don't work with anything except for Windoze Media Player, most likely since it uses a DirectShow filter instead of a true audio codec. So, my question for today is, how the hell do you convert the sound from a DirectShow filter encoded AVI file??? And yes, I did try setting VirtualDub to 44khz and 16bit and stereo and crap. It doesn't seem to matter. VDub is pissed...

Hopefully somebody solves this...if we do figure this out, it might be wise for a guide to be made on this...

What happens when you load your video directly into Gold Wave, and adjusting the playback rate, and then saving the file?
    Hello.

    Load into TMPGEnc

If you want to save the sound out use File > Output To file > Wave file
