Probelm with Ulead Movie Factory

Ok, forgive me to be off key here, but it is the best place in the forumn i found to explain my problem.

I assume you guys know as much about computers as you do for video editing. I have downloaded the Ulead Movie Factory trial version and try to install it on my XO machine. However, the setup stops with a 0x80070057 "the parameter is incorrect" and then the installation is halted. I tried everything: redownloading, driver updates, MS knowledge database and other website, nothing.

ANy suggestion that would help me will be very welcome.

try d/l another version off of kazza or sommin might have got corupt during d/l
