    Howdy,

    I was wondering how to get an mp3 from an avi, or if there is an easier way than what I am doing. I am using TMPGEnc to rip an mp2 then converting it to a wav then making the wav into an mp3. I was wondering if I could use something, like TMPGEnc, to go directly to mp3. Thanks for any insight.

    You can load the AVI into www.goldwave.com (Get MP3 plug-ins also) then cut paste as much as you want and save to MP3, change biterate for smaller files...
