If I am reading other posts correctly to use patcher, do you patch your mpeg l(lets say 480x480 to dvd res) then save your project and then close dvdit or spruce up(example) then repatch back to 480x480 and open up the project and it should be able to make svcd.

Everytime i patched movie I would get vertical line splitting mpeg in half. I have seen many refrences to this now this makes sense if this is the correct way to do it. If anyone can help I would be gratefull or point me to the right place. I am trying different ways to go from dvd to svcd on a dvdr, trying to find the easisest way for me.
