PictureToTV trial and Nero issues

Hi.
I am playing with PictureToTV and have some issues.
Overall I liked the product nice interface, transitions, music, saves originals etc.
o Picture quality was less than I expected.
o I have 4 albums in one project (88, 311, 249, 16).
The program never finishes loading. It takes up all resources (256MB,
PentIII).
o The size bar is questionable. Above album shows only 650MB used.
At 4 sec. each picture and 1 sec. transition It's 55 min long.
Add background music.
The resulting bin file size is 480MB.
However when I use Nero 5.5.9.0 to burn it it shows more that 1000 MB
used and I can't burn it (even with overburn turned on in Nero).

I havent had any problems with the program but the quality is terrible. Especially during transitions like zoom in's and zoom out's. I prefer to just make my own picture cds manually.

Nero is not really very good at burning bin files. I would try with a program specifically designed for this like CDRwin or Fireburner. Or if you need a free alternative use CDRDAO.

You'r right about quality of MPG based slide shows (there are several).
Benefit of that technology is that you get nice transitions but quality is not there .

I tried xatshow and liked it very much (no transitions on VCD though).
It even allowed me to brighten up some pictures. Quality is very good.
Unfortunately the resulting picture on Pioneer PROHD510 16x9 has about 2" black bar on the right. The entire picture is shifted left.
I then tried Niro's slide show. Which has no transitions or background music. However the picture quality is fantastic. It's so good that it's worth converting all my pictures to this medium. The problem with Niro is that I have 400+ pictures and it creates thumb nail view for first 99 and then I can't see the rest of the pictures.

1) Anyone know how to get 400 pictures with Niro(5.5.9.0) ?
2) Any idea on how to make xatshow show full 16x9 picture ?
(NOTE this is not a cropping issue, I was careful to fill the entire frame).
