How would I fix this then..please help

I have used these programs for along time now. For some reason, when I want to copy a dvd that I burned with convertxtodvd...it reads all of it, but when it goes to burn, it gives a burn error not even half way through. Also, when I go to convert my movies now, it always convert everything, but when its time to burn the movie....it freezes around 41% and 30%. Can you please help me solve this problem please. What could it be?

Try burn with something else and see if it's something wrong with your dvd writer. Use for example imgburn and burn the video_ts folder that convertxtodvd creates.

Thanks alot for responding. I tried imgburn and it gets a "cyclicy redundancy error. I have 2 dvd burners unstalled and I started using this computer about 4 months ago...everything is new. The only thing I can think of is I have gotten this message from zomealarm saying that a program want to check for software updates or the software integrity of the program and I denied it lots of time because I didn't know what is was...it could have been a trojan for all I know. The funny thing about all of this, is I have another computer I haven't use in 4 months because of the same thing. Please tell me what you would do? By the way, I am sorry for double posting. Please help

I defraged at 25% of my drive instead of 1% of my drive, and ran chkdsk and still I have lost more dvds. Can I use imgburn to convert xvid then burn? I have tried other programs in the past, and converxdvd in my opinion is alot more compatible for most dvd players. Winavi is a joke...what should I do and what programs should I use? I have even used the latest version of convertxdvd and now it just freezes....please help. I really appreciate all your guys help...you the man!!!! Sorry it took so long to report back....defrag took awhile.
